In 1923, Vincent Mille and Paul Courtieu invented the bronze bowl using the empty charge canonball technique. This bowl is nowadays called "Intégrale" Some years later, the steel bowl appeared.

Jean Blanc first registered his patent in 1928. These bowls were manufactured from "shells" pressed and welded (forging principle). It should be noted that the manufacturing of bowl is now highly technical.
